A $1.3bn loan will help build a Texas data centre for Anthropic

Eagle Point Credit Management is lending $1.3 billion as mezzanine financing to Nexus Data Centers for a large AI data center campus in Hubbard, Texas, where Anthropic will be the primary tenant. This loan is part of a $16 billion project-finance package led by Morgan Stanley, supporting the construction of a 2,900-acre campus with its own gas-fired power plant.
