Researchers developed CRISP, a foundation AI model trained on over 100,000 frozen pathology sections from multiple centers, to assist intraoperative pathology. It demonstrated high accuracy and generalization across tumor types and sites, supporting surgical decisions in a prospective study of 3,000+ patients.
