Researchers developed a multitask vision-language model to assist in interpreting right upper quadrant ultrasound images, trained on over 9,000 cases from one medical center and tested on data from two others. The system combines image analysis with language reasoning to improve diagnostic workflow in emergency and hepatobiliary imaging.
