AgentHands, a research prototype presented at CHI 2026, enables AI agents in Extended Reality (XR) to use synchronized, expressive hand gestures during conversations, enhancing spatially grounded interactions. It builds on a taxonomy developed with Google experts to make virtual hand gestures legible and contextually meaningful in 3D environments.
