In November 2025, AI music generation platform Suno was hacked, exposing source code revealing extensive scraping of over 2 million music clips from platforms like YouTube Music and Genius. The breach also involved limited customer contact and payment info, but no sensitive personal data was compromised, and Suno stated the incident involved outdated code no longer in use.
