Alexander Rakhlin named director of the MIT Statistics and Data Science Center

Alexander Rakhlin, a distinguished professor at MIT, has been appointed director of the MIT Statistics and Data Science Center, succeeding Ankur Moitra. Rakhlin has been involved with the center since 2016 and has led the Interdisciplinary PhD in Statistics program, mentoring over 75 PhD students.
