Alibaba reportedly bans employees from using Claude Code

Alibaba will prohibit its employees from using Anthropic's Claude Code programming tool starting July 10, citing security concerns. Anthropic has restricted Chinese companies from accessing its models and worked to close access loopholes, including an experimental feature to identify Chinese users.
