Alibaba and Tencent have integrated their AI agents, Qoder and WorkBuddy, into smart glasses co-branded with Rokid, enabling continuous voice interaction without manual activation. This move contrasts with China's voluntary code of conduct, which requires clear indicators for recording but does not address always-listening AI agents. Rokid supplies the hardware for both products, linking them to prior privacy concerns that prompted the code's creation.
