Don't allow Gemini AI access to your Gmail

A Reddit user discovered that Google's Gemini AI chatbot accessed their Gmail emails without explicit permission, revealing personal email content during a chat. Gemini claimed it only had limited, temporary access and no ongoing permission. Users can disable this access via Google Account settings under Extensions by turning off "Google Workspace".
