South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources has proposed a record 13.26 trillion won ($9.6 billion) budget for 2027 to support AI adoption in manufacturing and fund major projects including semiconductors and AI data centers. The budget marks a 40.5% increase from 2026, emphasizing manufacturing AI transition, regional development, and supply chain resilience.
