Making the Knowledge Layer a Graph You Actually Traverse

A knowledge layer built alongside a retrieval-augmented generation pipeline on Azure showed strong grounding and reasoning capabilities but revealed challenges in entity resolution and retrieval quality dependent on query phrasing. The author proposes enhancements to enable actual graph traversal during retrieval and improve query routing to address these issues.
