Meet deGDID: Windscribe's answer to the Windows tracker that VPNs cannot mask

Windscribe launched deGDID, a free tool that blocks Microsoft's Global Device Identifier (GDID), a persistent Windows ID that VPNs cannot mask and was used in a US hacking case to trace a suspect across countries. The GDID links Windows installations to Microsoft services, bypassing VPN IP masking, and deGDID disrupts this tracking by blocking GDID registration and wiping local identifiers.
