Meta initially encouraged employees to maximize AI tool usage, known as tokenmaxxing, tying performance to AI adoption. However, following challenges including token limits imposed by Google, Meta has removed AI usage as a performance metric. Despite this, Meta continues developing its own AI assistant aiming for wide adoption.
