Meta has developed an AI agent called an "organizational second brain" that captures and preserves domain expert knowledge in a structured, auditable way. This system uses layered architecture with knowledge consolidation, reasoning recipes, evaluation benchmarks, and a self-improvement loop to maintain and update expertise without retraining. Initially built for compliance, Meta says it can generalize to other fields like security and finance.
