MLB Bans Hitters From Consulting AI Chatbots Before Going Up to Bat

Major League Baseball has banned players and coaches from using AI chatbots for in-game strategy advice after it was found that about a third of teams were consulting such tools during games. The league issued a mid-season memo prohibiting AI use for decisions like substitutions and pitch calling, citing concerns over unfair advantages. Despite the ban, studies suggest AI's effectiveness in sports prediction and analytics remains limited.
