A Capgemini survey of 1,300 executives finds 93% of large organizations have discussed digital sovereignty, but 59% see full sovereignty as unrealistic, favoring resilient interdependence instead. European firms prioritize risk mitigation and resilience more than US firms, who focus on compliance. Most organizations lack full visibility into their technology dependencies, with 86% exposed to foreign supply chains and slow switching capabilities.
