NYU-DRP AI Model Predicts Five-Year Breast Cancer Risk From 3D Mammograms

NYU Langone Health researchers developed NYU-DRP, a deep learning model that predicts five-year breast cancer risk by analyzing longitudinal 3D mammograms from over 161,000 women. The model uses multiple years of digital breast tomosynthesis data, patient age, and breast density to improve risk prediction compared to existing methods.
