Samsung wants to bring a floating data center to Texas — huge waterborne facility could offer 50MW of capacity and even cool itself

Samsung Heavy Industries and Mousterian Corporation have entered the engineering phase for a floating data center in Texas, designed to deliver 50 MW of IT capacity. The waterborne facility aims to reduce construction time and use innovative cooling methods that avoid potable water and minimize noise.
