Silver Lake is merging its French software companies Cegid and Silae into a combined group valued at over €10 billion. The merger aims to integrate payroll, accounting, and financial management products, serving 2 million customers and 15,000 accountancy firms across Europe. Christian Pedersen will lead the new group, which plans to expand its R&D with a large developer team.
