A consortium including AI Infrastructure Partnership, MGX, and BlackRock completed a $40B acquisition of Aligned Data Centers, the largest ever in the sector, and committed an additional $5B to expand AI-ready capacity. Aligned operates 51 campuses with over 6.4 gigawatts capacity across the US and South America, reflecting strong investor confidence in growing AI compute demand.
