Android Car Malware Spreads Through Built-In Updaters for Ad Fraud, Proxy Botnet

Kaspersky identified a new malware family infecting Android-based car head units made by DoFun, spreading via built-in updaters to facilitate ad fraud and proxy botnets. The malware exploits legitimate software update mechanisms and is linked to the MoYu Group's BADBOX scheme.
