ARM Sells Its Own Silicon

Arm Holdings, a British company owned by Japan's SoftBank, announced it will design and sell its own AI-focused microprocessor for data centers, with Meta as an early customer. This move positions Arm as a new competitor in the AI hardware market, which is currently dominated by Nvidia, a company that also uses Arm CPUs in some architectures.
