China's securities regulator approved Unitree Robotics' registration for a Shanghai STAR Market IPO valued at about $619 million. The approval is a key step before finalizing share price and issuance date, marking Unitree as China's first major humanoid robotics public listing. Founded in 2016, Unitree is known for quadruped and humanoid robots and has been profitable since 2020.
