NestAI, a Helsinki-based AI lab founded in 2025 and funded by Nokia and the Finnish state, is developing NestOS, an AI operating system for unmanned vehicles and command systems, aiming to keep control of AI technology within European defense forces. Finland and Estonia signed a letter of intent to collaborate with NestAI on AI development and knowledge sharing without financial commitments, emphasizing sovereignty and interoperability across national boundaries.
