Google to Invest $15B in Finland’s AI Infrastructure

Google plans to invest $15.1 billion in AI infrastructure across Finland over 2027-2028, including data centers and clean energy projects. The investment will create about 7,000 jobs annually and contribute $3.6 billion to Finland's GDP during construction. Google also secured a 22-year deal to buy up to half the output of a Finnish nuclear plant to power its data centers sustainably.
