Meta continues to run ads promoting child sexual abuse material in India - report

A report by the Tech Transparency Project found Meta ran hundreds of paid ads featuring AI-generated child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including 84 in India, many after the Indian government ordered their removal. Meta acknowledged the issue but said it continuously strengthens detection and enforcement. Indian authorities are investigating, and a child rights group has petitioned India's Supreme Court over the matter.
