Elon Musk thanked Micron for providing Tesla with a significant memory chip allocation amid global shortages. Concurrently, Tesla and SpaceX are investing up to $119 billion in Terafab, a new chip fabrication facility at Giga Texas, to produce their own chips and secure future supply. Intel is collaborating on the design and fabrication of this large-scale project.
