New MCP specification addresses the main barrier to enterprise adoption

The Agentic AI Foundation updated the Model Communication Protocol (MCP) to better support enterprise deployment by revising its architecture and introducing a 12-month deprecation policy for features. Originally developed by Anthropic, MCP now includes contributions from major AI companies like OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, enhancing its adoption and support across various developer tools and services.
