New Startup Is Building Mini Drones to Wage a War of Total Destruction on Mosquitos

A French startup named Tornyol has developed small drones that use ultrasonic sonar to autonomously detect and eliminate mosquitoes by targeting their wingbeat frequency. These drones can patrol areas up to five acres, distinguish mosquitoes from other insects, and aim to eradicate mosquitoes by mapping their breeding and feeding habits. The company envisions these drones as a scalable, cost-effective solution to combat mosquito-borne diseases such as malaria.
