NSF Puts $100 Million Into Regional AI Infrastructure Hubs

The U.S. National Science Foundation launched a $100 million program to create up to 10 regional AI infrastructure hubs, partnering with companies like NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and Dell. These hubs will pool computing resources and expertise to support researchers, students, and educators outside the AI frontier, with a public-private cost-sharing model.
