Reddit plans to make changes to its 21-year-old Old Reddit desktop site to combat abusive scraping and spam, including retiring its public API and migrating moderation tools to newer systems. The company is gradually restricting access for logged-out users and has not ruled out discontinuing Old Reddit entirely.
