Reddit is launching Rules Hub, an AI-powered moderation tool using large language models to help moderators enforce community rules more effectively than keyword-based Automoderator. The tool is expanding to all new subreddits and may replace Automoderator's enforcement features later in 2026. Reddit is also requiring new third-party apps to use its developer platform to better control automation and policy enforcement.
