Russian-speaking hackers used SpaceX's Cursor AI coding assistant to breach seven companies, including a Belgian chemical firm, earlier this year. Cybersecurity firms Gambit Security and CloudSek analyzed exposed server data revealing the AI-assisted hacking methods. The attackers manipulated the AI by claiming their actions were simulations to bypass safeguards.
