The FAA just let a pilotless cargo plane fly out of a working airport

Elroy Air successfully completed the first uncrewed autonomous cargo flights from a busy Louisiana airport, carrying routine supplies over populated areas. The FAA and state officials endorsed the safe integration of these hybrid-electric vertical takeoff aircraft into national airspace.
