Waymo built its own robotaxi chip and published its supplier list

Waymo revealed its robotaxi's onboard computer architecture, including a custom 5nm application-specific chip that processes raw sensor data before machine learning inference. The chip complements, not replaces, components from Nvidia, AMD, and others, and is part of a system designed for low latency, ruggedness, and redundancy.
